Although both are used as pool coatings, the traditional liner is thinner (generally between 0.5 and 0.75 mm) and does not include an internal reinforcement mesh. In contrast, the reinforced liner is made of two sheets of plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-P) with a thickness between 1.5 mm and 1.8 mm, joined by an internal polyester mesh that provides greater mechanical strength, elasticity, and flexibility, allowing it to adapt to pools with irregular shapes.
